«Victoria» Group, a leading retail company in Russia has been established in 1993. The Group is in control of retail chains of a variety of formats, offering its customers a high quality service while keeping affordable prices.
«Victoria» is a very dynamically developing enterprise. According to the rating of Top 50 Russian retailers prepared by «Kommersant» edition, JSC «The Group of Companies Victoria» took the 15 place with a 35% growth in retail turnover in 2007. The Group counts over 15 000 employees.
The company controls the following networks of convenience stores «next-to-home»- «Kvartal», discounter-stores «Dyoshevo» and «Victoria» supermarkets. The stores are located in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kaliningrad. The total number of the stores already exceeds 210. The multi-format approach is aimed to satisfy the purchasing power and buying attitude of different categories of customers. The plans of «Victoria» Group include as strengthening its positions in the cities, where the stores are operating already, so as exploring new regions. A «Cash» type food store is also a part of «Victoria».
Developing its own production capacities is a part of activities of «Victoria» Group. The production of cooked meats and sausages and of a drinking water is established under the trade mark «Victoria». Several kinds of «Victoria» sausages were honored by the golden medals of «All about meat- 2004» Expo. The baking and culinary departments of the grocery stores are supplying the customers with fresh products on a day-to-day basis.
A network of storage depots and a plants and flowers «storage-n-trade store» «Flora» are operating successfully. Three redistribution centers, one in Moscow, two other — in Kaliningrad permit to solve all supply matters of the stores without delay.
The Group is developing its charity programs, providing sponsorship of socially significant cultural events and proclaiming its obligation to play an active role in the public life of the communities.
